The Way Christian Supplies mission is to deepen the Christian faith of our customers through education, empowerment, and evangelism through excellence in providing Christian based products and services

 

The Way Christian Supplies Inc. was founded 31 years ago by Pastor Claveron E. Burston Sr. and his wife Mary Burston. After a brief illness Pastor Burston found himself laid off from the Maryland Transit Administration where he worked for many years. After working a short time for his brother's record shop, God lead him to start The Way Christian Supplies. Predictions at that time stated that he would need $200,000 to start a retail store. This did not hinder Pastor Burston from following his dream of owning his own Christian supply store; therefore he took the only money he had $1,500 and through faith in God and hard work he opened his first location in the Oldtown Mall where he remained for 26 years.

 

The Way was founded on three principles: strong evangelism, continuous empowerment and enduring faith. The success of The Way has been its wonderful customers who have remained faithful patrons for many years. We take pride and joy in providing the highest level of service to our customers.
